Is there an update to the shiny new CS5 Photoshop that would install the current camera raw? Packaging and other Creative Suite requirements, Camera Raw 6.

To get the fix I would have to update - requiring an update to CS6 as well. I'd really prefer a fix that works with the products I have already PURCHASED - ie paid out for in hard earned. Also I'd like a list of known bugs so I don't have to search through the changes of all the subsequent updates to find out that Adobe knew about that one - and would like me to pay for the fix.

How many more bugs lie in wait. Why doesn't Adobe offer the option of upgrading just the ACR component for a fee? The new ACR engine looks bomb, but I don't really see anything else in PS:CS6 I want. And yes, I've tried the beta. Such an option could be at an intermediate price between LR and a full PS upgrade. (although, since it would only be a small component of either, rightfully should be less than either) This way, Adobe is always only working on the latest version and doesn't have to mess with confusion like this--I mean, you do realize that CS6 is shipping already, ya? Shouldn't compatibility with the latest gear there be priority?here they appear to have release a new version of PS and an upgrade for the old version that makes it more useful than the new.
