Adobe Premiere Pro Cs3 Hdv Presets S

Hi, I'm trying to set up the optimal Canon XH-A1 preset for use with (own CS2 and CS3) that will give me the least amount of trouble potentially and also offer the greatest degree of compatibility when editing with HDV material. When I start a new project on Pro 2 or 3,I want to be able to select the best & most suitable 'preset'(combination of settings) when launching the application!
